Ipswich operator Beeston’s of Hadleigh has recently taken delivery of a stunning Euro 5 Vanhool T916 Astron to head up his tour program. The 12.9litre Euro5 460bhp DAF MX engine and ZF AS tronic gearbox make for effortless long distance touring.
Fitted with 53 ‘Grande Luxe’ all leather reclining seats passenger comfort is further enhanced with a comprehensive entertainment system. The 3 LCD screens can show DVD live feed from the Sat Nav or a view from a forward facing camera. Other passenger comforts include climate control with webasto pre heater, centre washroom, hot drinks facilities two fridges seat which slide into the aisle and 3 point seat belts. The vehicle is finished in Beestons distinctive livery.
YORKSHIRE DALES OPERATOR AND HIS
VANHOOL T916
Hargreaves of Skipton have taken delivery of a Daf powered Vanhool T916. The 48 seater is fitted with the usual 916 refinements including drop down screens, coffee perculator, fridge, and conprhensive entertainment system. The coach will be used on tour and private hire work.
Two T916 ASTRONS For RICHMONDS
Richmond Coaches of Royston, Herts have taken delivery of the first of two Vanhool T916 Astrons. The first vehicle painted in Richmonds distinctive livery has 53 seats. A multy CD player add to passenger comfort. For added safety Richmonds have had a 9 camera CCTV, monitor and display system fitted.
A fine pair for Morton's
Morton's of Basingstoke have taken delivery of two Turkish built Temsa coaches. The larger vehicle is the increasingly popular Safari HD which is powered by the DAF 360hp engine with ZF 6 speed automatic gear box. 57 reclining seats with three point belts and full air conditioning the coach is used on schools and private hire work.
The smaller midi coach is the Opalin 9. This vehicle is powered by the 240hp M A N engine driven through a 5 speed voith automatic gearbox. 35 reclining seats, air conditioning and nearly 6 cubic metre of luggage space it is the ideal coach for the smaller tour party, airport transfer work, tour feeders and private hire.
Claribels take 2 VDLbus SB200 Wrightbus Pulsar Euro 4 service buses.
The 2 vehicles are joining a fleet which predominatly runs on the VDLbus chassis and the first to feature Euro 4 engines. Each bus is fully DDA compliant with 44 seats, Hanover destination gear, pull out ramp and wheelchair space.
